Weather Alert: Wind Advisory Issued for Portions of Alabama

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory.” It goes into effect on Monday, January 8 at 3 p.m. and goes until Tuesday, January 8 at 6 p.m.

South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, resulting in a few power outages.
