Hazardous Weather Outlook
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, "A surface boundary will approach the Interstate 59 corridor from the northwest this afternoon, resulting in isolated thunderstorms, some of which may become severe.”
The Storm Prediction Center has a portion of Alabama under a "marginal risk" (level 1/5) of severe thunderstorms. The areas are generally along and northwest of a line from Livingston to Calera to Anniston.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa's Chief Meteorologist said the “best chance of scattered storms would shift into South Alabama tomorrow. Then, on Sunday, the chance of any place seeing a shower or thunderstorm drops to 10-20 percent.”
