We Bama fans remember Pat Summitt, the Tennessee Coach that we just couldn't seem to beat.  Summitt lead the Vols to 8 National Championships and had a career record winning percentage of .841.  Pat Summitt died after a 5 year battle with dementia that she fought bravely for the past 5 years.

I remember her 2012 ESPY speech like it was yesterday and it's hard to believe that she is gone.  I will always remember her "wanna win attitude" and most programs measured their team to see if they had what it takes to win a title.  Pat Summitt did what no women had done before...she handled the pressures of winning and being a mom at the same time.

The fact is, Pat Summitt was in winner, in life, as in sport and we will miss her.  As a Bama fan, I think about Bear Bryant and how good he was with his winning percentage of .824 that certainly puts him on the Mount Rushmore of college coaches.  In my opinion, Pat Summitt is the George Washington of women's basketball with that .841 winning percentage.

"I've always said, you win life with people!  I'm gonna keep on keeping on..."
