Veterans Day Morning Freeze Gives Way to Warming Trend in Alabama
Alabamians woke up to what might be considered the coldest Veterans Day in quite some time.
The brief but frigid cold snap will now lend to a warming trend for the remainder of the week. Many locations across the southern region have broken record lows and new daily record cold highs, too.

James Spann, Alabama Weather Network and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said that the “warming trend headlines the forecast through the rest of the week with sunny days and fair nights. Expect a high in the 50s today, 60s tomorrow, and low to mid-70s by Thursday and Friday.”
