Upcoming ParTEA Community Event Supports Scholarship Awards
On Sunday, May 1st from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm the 2nd Annual Purpose ParTEA seminar and pop-up shop will take place. This event is hosted by A Touch of Iman LLC. at 2400 Events located at 600 Skyland Blvd East Tuscaloosa.
According to the press release, the Purpose ParTEA is a non-profit organization that is orchestrating a “movement to celebrate young African American women and pour into them to help fulfill their purpose.” In addition, a scholarship will be awarded to a young lady.
Founder, Shanequa Carter said that the mission of Purpose ParTEA is that they are "building and aligning resources to ensure young African American women have support to fulfill their purpose.”
