When Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley shared that they are expecting a baby one day before they revealed that they are having a son, the back-to-back announcements might have seemed like a whirlwind -- but there was a reason they had to wait.

"I was really honestly sick of trying to hold it in and not talk about it, [but] we had to tell our parents first, before we released the news," Hubbard shared with The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "They were all in town [for the 2017 CMA Music Festival], and we got to have a moment with them and have a special time and let them know and literally tell them, ‘Well, tomorrow we find out what the gender is, so buckle up.'"

Country Music's Cutest Baby Bumps

Although having a little one running around might mean a few changes for FGL, no one is more excited than Hubbard's musical partner in crime, Brian Kelley. In fact, he already bought Baby Hubbard -- who will be a boy -- his first piece of vintage denim.

"[We're] super excited, Brittany and I ... We can’t wait to see this little man come out," Kelley gushes. "Two beautiful humans making another human? It’s going to be amazing. [We're] super proud of both of them. They’re going to be great parents."

The Hubbards' new addition is due in December. Florida Georgia Line are currently out on the road for their Smooth Tour, with Chris Lane and Nelly serving as their opening acts; a list of all of their upcoming shows can be found on their website.
