We are thrilled and deeply grateful to share some exciting news with you. 93.3 & 790 WTSK, a cherished presence in our community, has been honored to be included in the final judging round as a nominee for Small Market Radio Station of the Year at the prestigious 40th Annual Stellar Awards.

Alabama shines brightly in this category, standing alongside three other radio stations in Maryland, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

This is a milestone that fills our hearts with gratitude and praise to the Most High.

We don’t take it lightly, as WTSK’s nomination is a direct result of our incredible listeners, whose unwavering support and consistent votes carried us through each round.  As Sister Sandra said, "God Did It.”

The 40th Annual Stellar Awards will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, from August 14 through 16, with the awards ceremony being taped on Saturday, August 16.

“Having been in the Gospel Music industry for 30-plus years, I am super proud of this nomination. First music, now radio,” said Bishop L Spencer Smith. “All I can say is God does all this well and to our surprise. I am blessed to be a part of the Praise 93.3 & 790 WTSK family.”

“This nomination is a testament to the power of faith, community, and the unwavering support of our listeners,” said Mary K., Brand Manager of Praise 93.3 & 790 WTSK. “To be recognized at this level for the first time in our station’s history is both humbling and exhilarating. It’s a reminder that when we serve with purpose, we make a difference. This honor belongs to all of us.”

It's true, Praise 93.3 & 790 WTSK has never earned a Stellar nomination.
