Tuscaloosa’s Toys for Tots in Desperate Need of Specific Toys
The Tuscaloosa Toys for Tots that services Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties desperately needs help to complete filling toy requests.
According to a Facebook Post, the Tuscaloosa division needs specific toys and items to help families in need this holiday season.
Requested Items
At least 204 toys for 0 months to 12 months, including girls' and boys' toys and items.
At least 60 2-year-old toys - the toy item must say it is for a 1 ½ to a 3-year-old.
The organizers are asking for the donations to be made today to complete the requests in time for the family pick-ups later this week.
You can drop off items today, Wednesday, December 13 until 6 p.m. at 1300 21st Street East, Tuscaloosa 35404
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has delivered hope to children for over 75 years. Over the years, the program has distributed 652 million toys and supported 291 million kids, according to the foundation's website.
