Tuscaloosa’s One Place Announces Tinsel Trail Grand Opening Date

The holiday season is fast approaching and one of the wonderful highlights of this time of the year is Tinsel Trail. It is hosted by Tuscaloosa’s One Place at Government Plaza in Downtown Tuscaloosa.

Ashley Cornelius, Director of Communications at Tuscaloosa’s One Place said that “Tinsel Trail is a magical display that brings together the Tuscaloosa community and visitors from across the region.”

Tinsel Trail Grand Opening

The grand opening will take place on Monday, November 20 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Government Plaza. You can experience the joy of holiday music, indulge in delightful refreshments, meet Santa, and marvel at the enchanting display of illuminated trees that adorn downtown Tuscaloosa during the festive season.

What to Expect from Tinsel Trail 2023

“Tinsel Trail features a stunning display of nearly 200 decorated trees each uniquely adorned by local businesses, organizations, and individuals,” said Cornelius.

You can enjoy the Tinsel Trail all season long. The kickoff is Monday, November 20, and lasts until January 1.

Special Events at Tinsel Trail

Pet Night is Sunday, December 3 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Ugly Sweater Night is Friday, December 8 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Family Night is Friday, December 15 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
