Tuscaloosa Woman Escapes Two-Day Beating & Kidnapping

The Tuscaloosa News reports Shane Allen Price is in jail after a woman says he beat her with an ax handle and set her hair on fire.

Shane Price, 43, attacked the woman after accusing her of cheating. The 29 year old woman said the beatings started at a house in Vance. The woman said Price set her hair on fire, telling her he was going to make her ugly so nobody would want her. Price also had a large knife and allegedly threatened to slit her throat.

Price was arrested Friday & is being held on a $250,000 bond.
