DC3 is an informal group interested in assisting with Tuscaloosa’s urban reforestation through procuring and distributing trees.

The seedlings are bare root, ready-to-plant varieties chosen especially for their color and heartiness in our west Alabama climate. We expect to have over 5000 seedlings to give away. Available varieties will include: red maple, live oak, white oak, crape myrtle, nuttall oak, overcup oak, and sawtooth oak. Limited numbers of redbuds, riverbirch, cherrybark oak, and bald cypress will be available as well. Come early to ensure you get the varieties you are most interested in!
