Tuscaloosa Snowflake Watch 2017

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow....the weather outside is frightful and the thought of snow is so delightful, so if you've no place to go....

At this point, we believe there will be two different events. The first will be snow associated with the front over Northwest Alabama starting Friday morning. The second will be an expanding shield of precipitation that will overspread the southern two thirds of the state of the state Friday through Friday night.

Below is the status for many of the schools in West Alabama for tomorrow:

- Bibb County - Closed
- Greene County - Does not return from holidays until Monday.
- Hale  County - Does not return from holidays until Monday.
- Marengo County - Has not made a decision yet.
- Pickens County - Does not return from holidays until Monday.
- Sumter County - No decision yet.
- Tuscaloosa County - Does not return from holidays until Monday.
- Lamar, Fayette, Walker - No word yet.
