Tuscaloosa City Schools Name New Superintendent; Name May Surprise You

In a bit of a surprising move, Tuscaloosa City Schools Director of PR, Lydia Avant, released a statement saying they have stopped their search for a new superintendent.

Dr. Mike Daria has signed for two more years as the superintendent for Tuscaloosa City Schools.

Everyone seemed prepared for a shakeup in the near future; however, it seems that will not be happening anytime soon.

Daria is a very popular superintendent, and many will be happy to hear this news.

Dr. Daria had initially announced his intention to retire this Summer after more than three decades in service.
