Tuscaloosa Rotary Memorial Foundation Grant Applications Open
In 1971, the Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa established the Tuscaloosa Rotary Memorial Foundation (TRMF) as a distinct legal entity, offering a structured way for tax-deductible contributions to support the club’s projects.

Since launching its first project in 1972-73, Rotary has contributed over $1 million to community organizations, supporting initiatives such as the Rotary International Student Center on UA’s campus, the Tuscaloosa Public Library, Salvation Army, Bama Theatre, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and many others.
Applications are now open for TRMF’s upcoming grants to be awarded in late 2025. Projects must be brick-and-mortar projects, and the total award will be no more than $50,000.

Proposals should address one of Rotary International’s priorities:
- Peace Building and Conflict Resolution
- Disease Prevention and Treatment
- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
- Maternal and Child Health
- Bais Education and Literacy (includes arts)
- Community Economic Development (includes arts)
- Protection or Improvement of the Environment
Deadline to apply is October 1, 2025.
Applications can be submitted using an online form. Click here to apply.
