Since the arrival of Coach Saban and Coach Johnson to the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa has become a giant in the world of sports.

Well, now everyone else is taking notice. WalletHub.com recently released a list of the 'Top 30 Best Sports Cities' and Tuscaloosa landed as one of only two cities in the top 30 that currently doesn't have a professional sports team. Although, Alabama's football team could easily hold their own in the NFL against at least 50% of the competition.

Obvious names like New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Los Angeles top the list but Tuscaloosa and East Lansing, MI, home of the Michigan State Spartans, managed to sneak in and make a big statement for the power of college football!

The list ranks Alabama's football program at #4 and Coach Johnson's basketball program at #149.
