
Tuscaloosa Man Charged With Check Fraud After Two Years
Authorities had been trying to solve this case for many months, and they finally got the break they needed in the past few days.

According to the Russellville Police Department, Jakari Deyon Wills, a 25-year-old man from Tuscaloosa, used a fake cashier's check to buy a vehicle from a private seller for $35,000.
It took authorities nearly two years to identify the man.
Local authorities also remind everyone to be careful when selling anything valuable, especially if you don't know the person you are selling to or buying from.
