Hurricane Irma has made landfall in Florida, and the effects of this monster storm are already being felt in Alabama. The eastern half of the state is under Tropical Storm Warning, while the rest of the state is under a wind advisory. As weather conditions continue to deteriorate, many local school systems have announced they will be closed on Monday, September 11.
