Trouble in Paradise: Life advice needed!

2021 is a new year, and with every new year, there's always new things to confront. This year, for the first time in my adult life, I have to face a situation that many have seen.

One of my friends has joined a Multi-Level Marketing business, also knows as an MLM. For the sake of everyone, I won't name the MLM, but now this presents a bigger problem.

The one thing in life that I'm trying to get better at is telling people when I feel something is off. Not in a mean way of course, but I don't want to see anybody I know go off-course and get into trouble.

Doing research revealed that this person is already trying to get people into the business, and if somebody else I know gets involved it'll be even more difficult to tell people to not do it.

So where do I go from here?

Part of me wants to message this person and tell them to find a better way to make money. But the other part of me is telling myself that they made their own bed and they must sleep in it. Money however is certainly something that can't be played around with. We all need it, and from the research I've been doing,

So what do I do folks? Should I try reason with this person and figure out another way for them to make some money? Or should I let them do their own thing? Your help would be much appreciated.

Hopefully this person will figure out that this business isn't a viable option, but for now we'll just have to wait and see. Regardless thanks for your help!
