Celebrate Tina Turley’s 29 Years with Theatre Tuscaloosa

Executive Producer Tina Turley’s retirement will be honored with “Tina’s Standing Ovation,” a grand cabaret event on Saturday, August 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa, located at 600 Greensboro Avenue.

According to the press release, “This special event will highlight Tina Turley and her 29-year career with Theatre Tuscaloosa by featuring unforgettable hits from Turley’s past Theatre Tuscaloosa credits.”

“Tina asked and helped me direct my first show,” Theatre Tuscaloosa Board Member and Director Ray Taylor said. “I am extremely honored to direct this celebration for her, and I hope she enjoys it!”

Taylor, alongside members of the Theatre Tuscaloosa Board of Directors and other talented contributors, is helping bring this special production to life. The cast of “Tina’s Standing Ovation” remains a secret, surprising Turley and the audience during this unforgettable event.

Tickets for “Tina’s Standing Ovation” are $29 each and include the performance and post-show celebration of a post-show toast and dessert at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center.
