This Tuscaloosa Yoga Studio Is Great For Exercise & Relaxation

It's National Women's Health & Fitness Day! Believe it or not, yoga is a great exercise you can do for fitness.

Yoga Bliss is located in downtown Tuscaloosa. They offer yoga classes for people of all experience levels from beginner to advanced. If you're worried about COVID-19, Yoga Bliss even offers online classes! As stated on their website, the goal of Yoga Bliss is to make a healthy yoga practice within reach to EVERYONE in our area. I love that!

My wife loves yoga, and we've been looking for a place in Tuscaloosa where she can take classes. It's looking like Yoga Bliss will be that place.

Speaking with co-owner LaKesa Gray, she told me about how beneficial yoga is for women. "We as women go through so much daily that just a simple pose such as a Warrior 1 pose (or high lunge) gives us the strength to conquer everything the world brings to us." LaKesa also mentioned how yoga is important for mental health and self-love. "Self-love is so important and yoga helps with that by showing you what your body can be capable of even when you don’t think it can."

Yoga Bliss offers so many options for classes I'm sure anyone can find the perfect class. I've seen their beginner fundamentals class, intermediate/advanced, and soul flow class listed on their website. I know my wife would love the soul flow class. It's a class that features soulful music and gentle yoga flow. Doesn't it just sound relaxing?!
