The Tinsil Trail is back for another year
One of Tuscaloosa's great new holiday traditions returns next week.
The Tinsel Trail, a collection of over 150 ornately decorated Christmas trees along the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk, is coming back for a fifth year. Local businesses, organizations, and individual sponsors decorate the trees. The Tinsel Trail is located along the Riverwalk at the Tuscaloosa River Market and Amphitheater.
Tinsel Trail will be officially open November 20th and lasts until January 14th. The trail is lit from dusk til midnight however can still be enjoyed during the day, and it is free to walk the trail!
Tinsel Trail is a project of Tuscaloosa’s One Place, a family resource center dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local families. They serve over 8,500 people per year through after school programs, parenting and fatherhood, healthy relationship education, career development, GED classes, and teen intervention programs. Proceeds from Tinsel Trail are used to support these programs and serve the local community.
