Located on the outskirts of Troy, Alabama, the Pioneer Museum is a fun exhibit the whole family can enjoy!

The entire foundation stretches over twenty-five acres with a working gristmill, historic log cabins, and a single-room schoolhouse. You can visit the Adams General Store and find more than 18,000 relics such as Civil War artifacts, antique farming tools, and creepy old dolls.

Events held throughout the year including a farmer's market from May to September. Guests can learn more about pioneer life through living history demonstrations where workers dress up in traditional clothing and interact through weaving, quilting, and carpentry.

The museum is open from Tuesday through Saturday and the hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is located at 248 Highway 231 N.
