As we bid farewell to "The Most Interesting Man in the World", we have to pause for a moment of reflection.  Dos Equis introduced us to actor Jonathan Goldsmith in 2007. And I would be willing to bet that not one person reading this hasn't seen the commercials.

The USA Today reports: Andrew Katz, vice president of marketing for Dos Equis says:

"Culture has changed very dramatically" since the commercials debuted, Katz says. "Our Millennial drinker has changed quite dramatically, and the competition has only exploded with the advent of craft (beer). We just want to make sure that the (Most Interesting Man) story evolves."

For almost ten years we have watched the Dos Equis commercials, seen parody ads, internet memes and more. It's the end of an era...kind of. Dos Equis says a new younger "Most Interesting Man" will replace the original.

Over the next few months, we will see an #adiosamigo campaign including cardboard cut-outs of Jonathan places in stores for fans to pose with, chances to win some of his swag and even a trip to Mexico.

Who can replace Jonathan Goldsmith? How can a younger guy portray a character with such experience and versatility? I guess we will see in the coming months.
