Who doesn't LOVE chicken? OK, I am sure that is not the same thing as this HOT, CONTROVERSIAL chicken fight in Northport. Have you heard about the petition? The name calling. Don't get ahead of me.

Personally, I like odd. Strange, peculiar, bizarre, eccentric, freakish, quirky things. I think crazy people are happier than the rest of us. They don't know they are crazy. I have lived in Tuscaloosa, off and on, since 1988. I thought I knew lots about Tuscaloosa.

It’s not clickbait. Mark my words because one day, this is going to happen. Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a city that I have lived in, off and on, since the 80s. Oh, how I love Alabama and, in particular, my Alabama Crimson Tide.

A popular Tuscaloosa store is getting lots of attention for the way they handle shoplifters in their store. I don't recall ever, in my 50 years, seeing a retailer do anything like this in the actual business. Other than the mini newspaper I see in Tuscaloosa/West Alabama gas stations, with mugshots of folks arrested in the last few weeks.

We got into a discussion this morning, on the Steve & DC Show on 95.3 The Bear/Tuscaloosa, Alabama, all about the mysterious, weird, strange, rare and unusual. I love those things that are mysterious, weird, unusual and especially the RARE things we're "not allowed" or supposed to know them or see them.

This is a new one. I have seen hundreds of rankings on the safest, cleanest, wealthiest and ugliest cities in Alabama and America. I have never seen a ranking based on "fun". Define fun. According to Webster it's something "amusing or enjoyable".

He is not a man. I will not call him one. This dirt bag, waste of skin needs to be removed or banned from Alabama forever! I do not want to ever again see "Alabama" next to his name. After what he did with no remorse as someone begged him to stop, he has no decency.

Did you know that Alabama, along with Georgia, are the top states for "Bigfoot" sightings. An Alabama newspaper, the Geneva Reaper, reportedly put a photo of "Bigfoot" on their front page years ago. It's hard to find a copy, I have tried multiple times, but I've heard from many who claim it did happen.

OK now, raise your hand if you hate to save money! Yeah, I don't see you (or anyone) raising their hand. According to rent.com, these are the best, or cheapest cities to live in throughout the state of Alabama. You might be surprised where some cities rank and it could influence future moves.

They say many of us have a plan if the Zombie Apocalypse finally hits us all in the USA. I can believe that. What about a plan for zombie raccoons? These little evil creatures are just plain mean. Now, we may have to deal with them in West Alabama.
