Former Strength and Conditioning coach Scott Cochran returned to Tuscaloosa for an interview with Ryan Fowler to discuss his new initiative and reflect on his time in Tuscaloosa.
Former Alabama strength and conditioning coach and University of Georgia special teams coordinator Scott Cochran has reportedly stepped away from the Bulldog program. Cochran left Alabama for Georgia to take an on-field coaching role in the spring of 2020.
Scott Cochran is leaving Alabama to join the University of Georgia coaching staff according to Cecil Hurt. Cochran was an original member of the Nick Saban coaching staff at Alabama, assuming the role of head strength and conditioning coach since 2007. Cochran is the architect of the Tide’s offseason spring training routine known as the “Fourth Quarter Program.” He will fill Georgia’s last remaining on-field coaching position, becoming the Bulldog’s Special Teams Coordinator.
