For Friday, May 30, a cold front will move through Alabama quickly, bringing thunderstorms to some areas. However, portions of Alabama may not even experience any thunderstorm activity.

For the Townsquare Media coverage area, only two counties are under a marginal risk, and that is a good portion of Bibb and Perry counties.

The overall threat timing is between Noon and 6 p.m., which includes Bibb and Perry counties inside the time window of Noon to 3 p.m.

Threats

Primary threats for today are “damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and large hail up to quarter size,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
