Strong Gusts Expected: Wind Advisory Issued for Parts of Alabama
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory.” This advisory is from Sunday, January 5, at 3 p.m. until Monday, January 6, at 6 p.m.
Residents can expect west winds between 15 and 25 mph, with strong wind gusts up to 45 mph. These gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Trees could be uprooted or brought down, and scattered power outages could be possible.
