If you're into sunken ships and hidden treasures, the El Cazador Museum in Grand Bay, Alabama is the perfect place for you.

In 1993, a fisherman by the name of Jerry Murphy was going about his daily routine when he accidentally stumbled across the immersed vessel. Jim Reahard, Murphy's uncle and current museum owner, did a little research and traced the remains back to 1784.

Reahard learned that the ship sailed from Veracruz, Mexico on January 11, 1784 and was meant to arrive in New Orleans. Unfortunately, the voyage resulted in a watery grave for reasons unknown, scattering silver and gold throughout the sea.

The museum boasts treasures such as valuable coins, jewelry, and sword handles. It is located at 10329 Freeland Avenue.
