Stillman College’s Days of Giving Ends with Giving Tuesday Push
Stillman College will wrap up its "30 Days of Giving" campaign on Giving Tuesday, December 3, with its traditional Give1876 Day of Giving. The campaign focuses on a final fundraising effort lasting one day, eight hours, and 76 minutes, commemorating the college’s founding in 1876.
Launched during Founder's Week in November, the campaign has already raised nearly $50,000 in individual donations from faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and local organizations. More than 100 gifts have come in from 21 states and Quebec, Canada. Stillman College aims to surpass 200 donors and secure contributions from all 50 states by December 4.
Donations can be made online at Give1876.Stillman.edu or by mailing a check to the college. All gifts postmarked by December 4 will count toward the campaign total, which will be announced the week of December 9.
Dr. Yolanda Page, Stillman’s eighth president, emphasized the lasting impact of donations: “Supporting Stillman College on Giving Tuesday ensures our students have access to an education that will change their lives and the future of their families.”
Over 40 projects are available for support, with nearly $20,000 raised so far earmarked as unrestricted gifts to the college. Kimberly Woodard, vice president of institutional advancement, urged the community to unite in support: "Every gift, no matter the size, directly impacts our students and campus programs."
For those donating online, gifts starting at $18.76 are encouraged, with special recognition for those giving $187.60 or more. Donations of $1,876 or more will be honored as part of the President’s Eminent Associates Giving Society.
