Finally, we get that extra hour back this weekend!  Daylight saving time ends at 2 am Sunday, which means you'll need to set your clocks back (“fall back”) one hour before going to bed on Saturday.

DST is also the time to change and test the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors when you're setting the clocks back.  The National Fire Protection Association reports that 71% of smoke alarms which failed to operate had missing, disconnected or dead batteries, so take a couple minutes to check those batteries and keep your family safe
