Scott Shepherd’s Wait Was Worth It

After what seemed like forever, and after I moved my tomato plant across the deck into the sun, I see the fruit of my labor.

I picked the first tomato from my plant last week. I am positive it took so long because I had the plant in a spot that didn't get a lot of sun. After I moved it, the blooms started like crazy.  Now there are at least 20 on the vine. The pepper plants are doing good too. I have had several of them with supper over the last few weeks.

I plan on going bigger next year. Maybe an actual garden somewhere in the yard.

I planted the tomato in April. Cool what a few months can do!
