Crimson Tide’s Path to Redemption: Roll Tide Willie Weighs In
Saturday, September 6th, the Alabama football team will host their first home game of the season against the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Coming off a season-opening loss to FSU, the Tide are hoping to bounce back strong in week 2.
Fans were certainly disappointed, and the critics let their opinions fly after the Tide's week 1 loss against FSU.
With all that said, the fact is, we need to move on to week two. What do we need to change? How should the team adjust for this second game of the season?
Crimson Tide Football and sports fanatic Roll Tide Willie chimed in with his thoughts. In a recent interview with The Big Dawg, DreDay, and Comedian LP on 105.1 the Block, Willie told three things the Tide needs to do that will secure that week 2 win at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Run The Ball

"We need to run the ball," Roll Tide Willie said. "Run it down their throats." According to Willie, this will help the Tide secure that win against the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Start the Season 1-0

Last week's game is behind us. Focus on what's happening now and show up for this game
Execute

Give effort every play. Attack the ball and do what we need to do every down. This will surely get the victory.
Blitz Bama Blitz

Roll Tide Willie says this will be a key to winning Saturday's game. The defense needs to BLITZ to the ball.

You can take a listen to the full interview below:
We sure hope these tips help, and we can't wait to cheer on our Crimson Tide at their home opener. Roll Tide, Willie and Chad will be part of the gameday atmosphere in Tuscaloosa.
They will be set up at Jimmy John's on the Strip every home game this season with Roll Tide Willie merchandise. If you stop by to see them, make sure you give Willie a HUGE ROLL TIDE!!!!!!
