Rob Bramblett Was A Good Guy #RIP

I remember the day Rod Bramblett called me to tell me he'd gotten the job as Auburn's new play by play announcer. He was so excited and equally sad at the same time due to the recent passing of Jim Fyffe. Rod loved and adored Jim, and he too left this earth way too soon.

Rod was the kinda guy we called "one of the good ones." He loved Auburn University long before he shouted "Touchdown Auburn," the phrase he continued and dedicated to the late Jim Fyffe.

Ya know, It's common for humans to say things like how good a guy somebody was following their death, but Rod really earned the title of good guy. Rest in Peace my longtime friend, you are loved and will be missed by so many! ❤️ #RIP #TouchdownAuburn
