There is a risk (Level 3 out of 5) of severe storms this evening for the northern half of Central Alabama. There is a risk (Level 1 to 2 out of 5) of severe storms Tuesday evening for most of Central Alabama, except for the far southeastern counties.

The primary concerns are for “damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes, some strong, are all possible,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
