Nashville's Song Suffragettes have been mixing up their usual formula lately. The five talented women took on a cover from Randy Houser at a recent Monday Night #LetTheGirlsPlay show, joining together for "Runnin Outta Moonlight."

Kaitie Forbes, Lena Stone, Kalie Shorr, Regan Stewart and Tenille Arts shared the bill for the Suffragettes' weekly show at the Listening Room in downtown Music City on Aug. 21, stripping Houser's hit down to its bare essentials for a group cover to end the show. LTGP breakout star Shorr leads the group, strumming the chords and taking the first lead, but Forbes, Stone, Stewart and Arts all get their chance to shine at the mic during the special group cover of Houser's hit, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart when it was released as the second single from his third album, How Country Feels, in 2013.

The weekly Suffragettes shows serve as a showcase for a rotating roster of Nashville's most promising female singer-songwriters, giving them not only a platform for sharing their original songs and networking, but a chance to meet and work with other young country women. Shorr has been a breakout artist from the program; she scored a hit at SiriusXM with "Fight Like a Girl," and ToC named Shorr as one of our RISERS for 2017. Watch her share an original song titled "Nothin' New" at the RISERS shoot below. Shorr also took part in a photo shoot and spoke to ToC about "Fight Like a Girl."

Shorr was so inspired by Taylor Swift's new single, "Look What You Made Me Do," that she came up with her own new arrangement, recorded it and released a video within 12 hours of it dropping. See her country take on "Look What You Made Me Do" below.
