Potential Heavy Rainfall in Alabama Soon Plus Rain Chance Guide
An extended spell of rain is predicted from Sunday night to early Wednesday next week, with the most intense rainfall anticipated on Monday and Tuesday.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, “Total rainfall amounts from 2 to 4 inches are expected across Central Alabama.”
In addition, some of the Townsquare Media coverage areas are in locations where the total rainfall amounts are predicted to be higher.
3 to 4 inches of rainfall is expected in portions of Greene, Hale, and Lamar counties and for the entire Bibb, Fayette, Perry, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa counties.
There is a “Slight Risk” for excessive rainfall for areas south of I-20.
