Possible Isolated Tornadoes in Portions of Alabama Next Week

This period for fall severe weather season is between November and December. The Alabama Wx Weather Blog said that in recent years, November in Alabama has proven to be more eventful than the spring primary season.

The best time to prepare for severe weather is when conditions are nice and quiet.

Severe Weather Potential Early Next Week

The Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa weather center is monitoring a system that could impact our area Monday night through Tuesday morning.

As this weather system moves northeast across our area the National Weather Service in Birmingham believes that it will be supportive for some strong to severe thunderstorms.

Also, this system could usher in some beneficial rain amounts for our area.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that “models continue to suggest there could be sufficient instability for strong to severe thunderstorms across parts of AL/MS, especially in the Monday night/early Tuesday time frame.”
