Police Standoff at Tuscaloosa Hotel Ends; Suspect Identified
Earlier today, An armed man barricaded himself inside a room at The Ramada Inn in Tuscaloosa. The suspect had told Tuscaloosa Police that he would not surrender peacefully.
However, after about 35 minutes, Tuscaloosa Police and Federal Marshalls took the suspect into custody at 631 Skyland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa.
Marty Keely, the U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Alabama, told Al.com that the man had been identified as 43-year-old Uvaldo Garcia.
