Pappy Van Winkle Takes Over Alabama

November 14th in Alabama was as close to a holiday as you can get, without actually being a holiday. Bourbon lovers had the chance to buy Pappy Van Winkle at eight Alabama liquor stores, including in Tuscaloosa. Nearly 100 customers lined the ABC Store on McFarland Blvd. Monday morning - with some folks waiting in line for more than 20 hours! Morning show co-host Simone Eli went to the store and spoke to some excited bourbon drinkers. A bottle of Pappy Van Winkle ranged from $59.99 to $269.99.
