Tuscaloosa County Highway 69 Closed This Afternoon
On a day with lots of rain and slippery roads, comes an announcement from our friends at the Northport Police Department regarding Highway 69.
Highway 69 is a major artery in Tuscaloosa County, and it is currently closed in both directions. This is directly from our sources with ALEA below:
ROAD CLOSURE
Highway 69 is currently CLOSED between Charlie Shirley Road and Mitt Lary Road in both directions.
The closure is due to debris in the roadway. We are awaiting a response from state crews and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
