Tuscaloosa Police Non-Emergency Line Currently Down
The City of Tuscaloosa has confirmed that an important resource for residence is currently not working.
Tuesday afternoon, the City of Tuscaloosa posted a message to social media, announcing that a non-emergency line is out of order.
"Tuscaloosa Police Department's non-emergency line is currently down (349-2121)," the post read on Facebook.
Residents who have emergencies can still use 911. The City of Tuscaloosa also provided another number for residence to use for non-emergencies.
"Please call 311 for any non-emergencies. 911 should still be used for all emergency situations."
There was no information available on a timeline for when the downed number would be back ups and running. When we're provided that information, we'll be sure to update this story.
