Next Week Alabamians Might Be Swapping T-Shirts for Sweaters
Weekend Outlook
In West Alabama, anticipate partly sunny and warm days along with fair and pleasant nights until Sunday. Temperature wise you can expect highs in the mid-80s with lows in the 60s.
Week Ahead Forecast
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that “the coldest air so far this season will roll in Alabama.”
Prepare for a Big Temperature Contrast
On Monday, a front will slowly make its way across the state, resulting in a significant temperature difference. By the mid to late afternoon, the Tennessee Valley is expected to have temperatures in the upper 40s, while the southern counties located south of the front may experience temperatures in the mid-80s.
“The weather will be dry Tuesday through Friday with very cool days and cold nights. Highs will be in the 50s over the northern half of the state Tuesday and Wednesday, with 60s to the south,” said Spann.
