According to a press release from PARA, the Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority were chosen as the nonprofit of choice for car washes during New Day Car Wash’s grand opening weekend celebration.

During that celebration, carwashes are completely free, but donations are encouraged.

According to the press release, all proceeds will benefit the PARA Foundation and support two key community initiatives:

Mason’s Place All-Inclusive Playground (Phase II)

Youth Athletic and Program Scholarships

“Partnerships like this truly make a difference,” said Brian Davis, CEO of PARA in the press release. “They allow us to continue serving our community through parks, programs, and opportunities that enrich lives every day. We’re grateful to New Day Car Wash for choosing PARA and for investing in initiatives that create lasting impact.”

The ribbon-cutting celebration also featured Shurf’s Up Shaved Ice and Chicken Salad Chick, who provided delicious treats for attendees. Townsquare Media's 95.3 The Bear, and the West Alabama Chamber were in attendance as well.

In addition, New Day Car Wash hosted a field trip for PARA’s summer day campers, giving children a behind-the-scenes tour of the car wash’s inner workings. Campers enthusiastically declared it their “BEST DAY EVER” and favorite field trip yet.

Residents are encouraged to stop by during the grand opening weekend to experience the new facility, enjoy a free wash, and support programs that make a difference in Tuscaloosa County. New Day is also doing a drawing for a branded limited edition Stanley tumbler and 12-month signature wash membership.
