In an interview with James Palmer of the NFL Network the California-native set the record straight on how to pronounce his name and what kind of player he hopes to be at the next level.

Harris spends his first few minutes clarifying how his first name is pronounced.

"It angers me a lot. It's freaking 'Na - Gee Harris'," he said. "Not 'Na Jay' its not N-A-J-A its N-A-J-E-E."

The all-time leading rusher in Crimson Tide history ran a variety of routes for the Tide's second Pro Day in an effort to show he is a three-down skill set at the next level.

"I wanted to show how versatile I was in the routes. I just didn't want to run the basic swings and the 5-yard curls and the flat-arrows. I wanted to be versatile and really run into my routes and be a first-read in the progression for a quarterback. You saw me do a hitch, sluggo, slant-and-go's. You saw me do a 9-yard curl, you saw me do go routes, you saw me do really everything that a wide receiver would do.

Harris is in competition with Travis Ettenne from Clemson, Chuba Hubbard of Oklahoma State and the two running backs out of North Carolina Javonte Williams and Michael Carter for the top running back selected in the upcoming NFL Draft.
