Musical Line-Up Announced for 2016 Kentuck Festival of the Arts
The musical atmosphere is one of the many things that makes the Kentuck Festival of the Arts stand out from all other Southern festivals.
Music can be heard from all corners or the festival grounds for two days each October! In year’s past, Legends like Mavis Staples and Ralph Stanley have graced the stage alongside an eclectic mix of music from all genres.
The musical line-up for 2016 has just been released:
Saturday, October 15th
9:30 am - Spookhouse Saints
11 am - Jesse Kramer
12:30 pm - Steelism
2 pm - Birmingham Seven
3:30 pm - The McCrary Sisters
Sunday, October 16th
10:30 am - Porter
12 pm - The Hogslop String Band
1:30 pm - Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers
3:30 pm - SHEL
Visual artists make up the largest portion of excitement on-site featuring 270+ folk, visionary, and contemporary artists and craftspeople presenting their work, a free hands-on children’s area and live demonstrations by basket makers, blacksmiths, woodworkers, traditional potters, fiber and fabric artists, quilters, jewelers, and more!
The 45th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts will be held on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th from 9 am-5 pm both days, rain or shine. The festival will be in Kentuck Park located at 3501 Fifth Street in Northport.
