Much Cooler Temps Return to Alabama Soon
We have had some warmer days here recently, but get ready for some cooler temperatures.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said, “Cooler, drier air returns to the state Thursday and Friday. Expect a good supply of sunshine both days with highs mostly in the 50s.”
However, the weekend is a different story. “Highs drop into the 40s, lows in the 20s for most of Alabama. The air remains dry, and there is no chance of any precipitation,” said Spann.
What About the Holiday Week?
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day may still be more than a week away, but current forecasts suggest a warming trend in the weather pattern during that time. This shift in temperature could bring a welcome change for those planning outdoor holiday activities, such as family gatherings, winter walks, or even last-minute shopping trips.
Spann said, "Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25) highs will be in the 58-62 degree range across Alabama.”
