Morning Show Pitbull Mascot Diesel Says Happy Puppy Day

Today was National Puppy Day. The furry friend lovers at 953 THE BEAR love this day. Diesel, our morning show mascot, is in studio most every morning. He usually sleeps through the morning show. I hope he's not trying to tell us something. He sometimes goes office to office and charms his way to lots of treats.

Diesel is a trained emotional support dog. He was also rescued by Audio Producer Bob. Or maybe Diesel rescued Producer Bob. That's the way it usually goes with rescue dogs.

Puppy Day is a great opportunity to remind everybody to consider adopting a furry friend from a shelter. There are so many potential loving companions waiting on a forever home.
