Plenty of people look for buried treasure along the Gulf Coast, and vacationers in Orange Beach found packages valued at over one million dollars last week.

WKRG reports beachgoers walking between Lei Lani and Pheonix 10 Condos discovered packages washed up on the shore over two days. The first day, 21 pounds of marijuana and kilo of cocaine were found, and the next day 38 kilos of cocaine were discovered. All of the packages had been wrapped tightly to protect them from the water.

Authorities believe the packages had been in the water for some time, as they were covered in barnacles.
