More Road Closures Coming to Downtown Tuscaloosa

The Alabama Department of Transportation continues to work on renovating Lurleen Wallace Boulevard, and more roads are closing as part of the project.  ALDOT will close westbound access from Lurleen Wallace Boulevard southbound at University Boulevard, Paul Bryant Drive, 11th Street and 12th Street until mid-August. Sixth Street will close Thursday, June 20 at 5 a.m. with Seventh Street and Eighth Street to follow in succession to allow utility crews to move into the area.
