Miranda Lambert made an unexpected appearance at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater on Thursday evening (Sept. 6) during multi-genre act Lake Street Dive's first-ever headlining set at the famed venue, coming out for a performance of LSD's stark ballad, "I Can Change." The song appears on the group's sixth studio album, Free Yourself Up, which was released earlier in 2018.

"We've got a special new friend with us tonight, and I really want her to sing this song with me. Some of you might know her," Lake Street Dive lead vocalist Rachael Price said to the crowd, before inviting Lambert to join her onstage. Trading verses, the two singers offered up a sleek and haunting rendition of the ballad, with only. a sparse line attending the two powerhouse voices. Press play above to new the full performance.

Lambert was also in Colorado for her performance at the inaugural Seven Peaks Music Festival, curated by country star Dierks Bentley, where she headlined one evening of the festivities. Lambert also recently wrapped up her own headlining Summer 2018 Bandwagon Tour, which she co-headlined with Little Big Town.

In addition to her busy touring schedule in 2018, Lambert is also gearing up for big plans with the Pistol Annies, a country trio comprised of Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.  While the group has not released new music in five years, all three members have indicated that a new album is in the works, and might be available for fans very soon.
